How to Create your Listings before you "List" Them

Sometimes it is helpful to have your listing all ready to go without actually listing it. Some others also like to be able to get all the text written and save the picture adding part for later. The following instructions will explain how to do this.
  1. Create your new listing as you normally do
  2. When you have entered all the information you would like copy the address in the browser bar. Do not click "Finish" or your listing will be listed.
  3. Save the address in your bookmarks or a text document for later.
  4. When you are ready to finish the listing just paste the address into your address bar and it will take you to your incomplete listing.
Happy listing!

  1. I wondered how people were listing a bunch at a time. I will need to try this just so I can do it. Thanks!

  2. This is awesome! I like to list things late at night (my Google Analytics has been spiking at 11pm. Uh?) but I don't like to START listing things late at night b/c then I'M up REALLY late at night. This is perfect!

  5. So if I copy the address on the final step of listing, I can close that window or navigate away from it and all of the information I entered will be saved? I have this fear that I'll spend a bunch of time preparing listings and that the information in them will be lost if I close the window without hitting "finish."

  6. I promise it will be saved forever. Go ahead and test it out with a fake listing .. copy the address close the window then come back and paste in the address.
